Design
TRAIL-A-BOOT comes in the following standard sizes:
- 4' x 4'
- 5' x 3'
- 5' x 4'
Non-standard sizes may be custom fabricated upon request. 6' x 4', 7' x 4', 8' x 4', and even 9' x 4' trailers have been requested previously.
All units are designed to stand on their end when not in use for convenient storage. The 4' x 4' will fit underneath a standard carport in this position. Other units may require a slightly higher ceiling unless the removable towbar tongue option is selected.
Each TRAIL-A-BOOT may be fitted with a fold-down tailgate for easy loading and unloading of heavy gear. Lids are hinged, but are designed for easy detachment from the inside with the removal of four screws. Unless otherwise specified, trailers are painted white.
With its lightweight and compact design, the TRAIL-A-BOOT will tow easily behind the smallest car. No registration is required in Victoria for the standard 4' x 4', as its length is less than the required 3m. Registering your trailer, though, will save you the hassle of changing license plates when lending your TRAIL-A-BOOT to family and friends. It costs very little, and ensures that your new trailer is legal throughout all states and territories of Australia, so it is recommended in all cases.
